Producing over four generations

TICA Savannahs for a discerning clientele for a decade and a half
Celebrating our 14th year in our mission to develop and maintain the integrity of this magnificent breed through producing exceptional Savannahs for qualified, distinguished homes as happy and healthy, extremely socialized pets; and for SBT competion in TICA cat shows.
After working passionately on the savannah breed standard as we voted on in 2011, AWildSide selected incredibly beautiful cats that would later ambassador the best characteristics reminiscent of the African Serval ancestor .
We are a small underfoot cat breeder, nestled in a quiet farming community in Southern Michigan. We started by purchasing our first pair as kittens. While waiting for them to fall in love and produce kittens, we attended many TICA Cat shows in the Great Lakes Region, learning from many elegant and inspiring breeders of many distinctive cat breeds, to include our permissible outcrosses at the time, the Egyptian Mau, Oriental Shorthair, and the Occicat.
We operate a strict vaccination and veterinarian well check protocol, we have a time tested and true line of negative results on hereditary genetic issues, and even recently became certified as a Veterinary Assistant at our local community college to stay current on the science of animal medicine.
We were spellbound by this savannah breed instantly, because they are the most instinctive, interactive most compassionate and loving breed I have EVER come across , after spending years working with, and volunteering at shelters and clinics with purebreds and mixed breeds in Colorado. We knew right away that this breed was going to change the way folks that loved cats were going to view the cat, after observing the dog-like interaction and striking beauty of the savannah cat.
